Schedule recurring tasks and reminders with new time-based automation triggers
Run routine tasks on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule by using the new "On a schedule" trigger, now available in Automations within both Partner Center and Business App.

Execute repetitive functions without repetitive work
Automate routine actions, such as sending client reminders or invoking an AI Employee, on a recurring basis without needing an external event to kick off the workflow. The "on a schedule" trigger provides the foundation for more automated workflows and scales how AI employees can perform regular jobs for a business.
The "On a schedule" trigger includes several flexible configuration options:
- Daily:Run the automation at a specific time every day.
- Weekly:Select specific days of the week for the automation to run.
- Monthly: Run on specific days of the month or use the "End of month" option to account for varying month lengths (28th, 30th, or 31st).
- Custom windows:Set specific Start and End dates to control exactly when the recurring schedule is active.
- Timezone support:All schedules run based on the automation’s specific timezone setting, ensuring actions happen exactly when intended.
Why it matters
Previously, automations were "reactive," meaning they only ran when a specific event occurred, such as a failed payment or a new contact being created. To handle regular, recurring tasks, users often had to trigger workflows manually or rely on external tools like Zapier.
Now, users can automate consistent notifications and actions to happen at the exact same time every day, week, or month. This allows both partners and their SMB clients to focus on higher-value work instead of manually managing repetitive reminders and routine administrative jobs.
How to access

- Save and turn on the automation.
FAQ
Can I set a schedule to only run for a specific date range?
Yes. Use the Start date and End date fields to control the window of time that the schedule remains active.
What happens if I select day 31 for a monthly schedule?
The automation will only run during months that have 31 days. To ensure an automation runs every month regardless of length, use the End of month option.
What timezone does the schedule use?
The schedule uses your specific automation's timezone setting. All configured times are interpreted based on that selection.
