Consolidate Social & Ads

Multi-location businesses require location-level management for Reviews and Listings, but Social Media and PPC Ads are inherently brand-level, not location-level. Today, Social and Ads must be provisioned to a single “primary” location, which creates unnecessary cognitive load and operational friction.
- Social Media and Ads are artificially tied to a single location entity
- Users must remember which location is designated as “primary”
- Non-primary locations cannot be filtered out in account management views
- This breaks mental models for agencies managing brand-level channels across many locations
Recommendation: Introduce Group-Level Apps for channels that are not location-specific (Social Media, PPC Ads).
Proposed UX Improvements:
- Allow Social Media and Ads to be provisioned and managed at the Multi-Location Group level
- Separate Location-Scoped Apps (Listings, Reviews) from Brand-Scoped Apps (Social, Ads) in IA and UI
- Add filtering and grouping controls to hide non-applicable locations for brand-level tools
- Clearly indicate scope (Location vs Group) in the UI to reduce ambiguity
